Terms of use
Last updated October 30, 2026
By using SplitMP3 you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
The service
SplitMP3 lets you split MP3 files into smaller MP3 files in your browser. It is provided free of charge and may change or be withdrawn at any time.
Your content
You keep all rights to your audio. Because processing happens on your device, we do not receive, store or review your files. You are responsible for making sure you have the right to copy and split the audio you use, and you agree not to use SplitMP3 to infringe anyone's copyright or other rights.
No warranty
SplitMP3 is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. MP3 files vary, and results can differ by file, browser and device. Cuts fall on MP3 frame boundaries and a part may begin with a few milliseconds of silence. Always keep your original file; SplitMP3 never changes it, but you should check the parts before you rely on them.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of SplitMP3, including lost or damaged files or data.
Changes
We may update these terms. The date at the top shows when they last changed. Continued use after a change means you accept the new terms.
